Is SodaMelt Worth It? 7 Checks to Run Before You Buy
SodaMelt is a once-daily dietary supplement capsule, 30 to a bottle. Whether it is worth it depends on seven checks: the label, the fit, the pack size, your medicines, who should skip it, the refund steps and where you buy. The seller prints $49 to $89 a bottle and a 60-day money-back window.

- SodaMelt is a capsule, one a day, 30 capsules a bottle. That is a 30-day supply.
- The panel prints two amounts only: calcium at 100 mg and a proprietary blend at 250 mg shared by 11 ingredients.
- Four of the 11 blend members are anthranoid stimulant laxatives (positions 4, 6, 7 and 9 by weight).
- Pack prices from the seller: $89 (one bottle), $177 (three) and $294 (six). Every pack is a one-time payment and none renews.
- The guarantee runs 60 days from the purchase date. Opened bottles count. Return postage is the buyer’s cost.
- SodaMelt is not FDA approved, and no supplement is. It is for adults aged 18 and over.
SodaMelt is a dietary supplement. It is not a drug and it is not FDA approved, and no supplement is. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. For a medical question, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
What is SodaMelt, in plain words?
Picture the page you have open now. A bottle, a price, a button. Before the button, it helps to know what the bottle actually is.
SodaMelt is a dietary supplement in capsule form. It is not a gummy, a powder or liquid drops. You take one capsule a day, and one bottle holds 30 capsules. The site is run by Mysodamelt, which calls itself the USA Authorized SodaMelt Retailer, a desk in New York. The checkout itself belongs to BuyGoods, the retailer of record.
The bottle makes no claim about what the capsule does. It prints the words Dietary Supplement, the count, the suggested use, a storage line, a caution and the FDA paragraph. Every benefit you may have read comes from the seller’s page, where the seller says SodaMelt encourages healthy digestion, everyday metabolic wellness and a lighter feeling. Those are the seller’s words. We repeat them as the seller’s and not as facts about the capsule.
| Fact | What is printed or published |
|---|---|
| Form | Capsule, one a day, 30 per bottle |
| Suggested use on the label | One capsule daily with an 8 oz glass of water, 20 to 30 minutes before a meal, or as your healthcare professional directs |
| Panel | Calcium (as calcium carbonate) 100 mg, 7.5% Daily Value; Proprietary Blend 250 mg, Daily Value not established |
| Price (seller, one-time payment) | 1 bottle $89 · 3 bottles $177 ($59 each) · 6 bottles $294 ($49 each) |
| Shipping | Added at checkout on 1 and 3 bottles, no figure printed; free USA shipping on 6 bottles |
| Guarantee | 60 days from purchase date, opened bottles accepted, return postage paid by the buyer |
| Order desk | +1 (302) 200-3480 for orders, tracking, changes and refunds |
Prices are the seller’s own figures as read on 19 September 2026. The checkout shows the live price.
Check 1: What does the label print, and what does it leave out?
Start with the panel, because it is the one part of the bottle that describes the contents. It prints two rows. Calcium carbonate gets its own line at 100 mg. Everything else is grouped under the heading Proprietary Blend, with a single total of 250 mg.
Eleven names share that 250 mg: oat straw, alfalfa herb, psyllium husk, Chinese rhubarb root, scabrous gentian root, aloe vera leaf, cascara sagrada bark, goldenseal root, buckthorn bark, bentonite and Lactobacillus acidophilus. The label lists them from heaviest to lightest, as the rule in 21 CFR 101.36 requires. So oat is first and the live culture is last.
What you will not find is an amount for any single name. The label gives no milligram figure for psyllium, aloe, cascara or any other member of the blend. It also gives no CFU count for the culture. A fair reader writes not published beside those gaps and does not guess.
Can you say, in one sentence, what the label tells you and what it hides? If yes, you pass check 1. The panel tells you the order and the total. It hides the split.
Check 2: Does the formula fit what you want from it?
The ingredient list reads like a digestion shelf: fibre, aloe, a probiotic, a clay. The weights tell a narrower story. At 250 mg shared by 11 names, an even split would be about 23 mg each. Studies of psyllium used more than 10 g a day, which is far above the whole 250 mg blend. The probiotic trials used 3 to 8 billion CFU a day, and this label declares no CFU count at all.
The four anthranoid herbs are the exception. This family of stimulant laxatives acts in tens of milligrams, so a 250 mg blend can plausibly hold a working amount of them. Those are Chinese rhubarb root, aloe vera leaf, cascara sagrada bark and buckthorn bark (a review of anthranoid laxatives). What a buyer is most likely to notice is a bowel movement, with looser stools, urgency or cramping in some people. The site puts the first effect at 6 to 12 hours after swallowing a capsule.
| Name on the label | Place in the blend | What studies used |
|---|---|---|
| Psyllium (husk) | 3rd of 11 | Over 10 g daily, for a month or longer (a 2022 meta-analysis of fibre supplementation) |
| Lactobacillus acidophilus | Last of the 11, no CFU count | People were given 3 to 8 billion CFU each day (a randomised trial of probiotic sachets) |
| Goldenseal (root) | 8th of 11 | About 3 g a day in small studies (NCCIH on goldenseal) |
| Calcium (carbonate) | 100 mg on its own row | 1,200 mg a day taken with levothyroxine (the levothyroxine absorption study) |
The right-hand column shows what researchers gave people. It is not what is in the capsule.
So ask yourself why you want it. If the reason is a short course that moves a slow bowel, the formula points that way. If you want a set amount of fibre or a probiotic count, this label cannot give you either.

Read first, then decide
If the seven checks look fine to you, the order page shows the live price, the shipping line and the guarantee terms before you pay.

See today’s price and guaranteeThe checkout shows the live price. Disclosure: Mysodamelt earns a commission when you order through this button, and the site says your price does not change.
Check 3: Which pack size matches a fair trial?
The seller sells three packs, and the arithmetic is simple. One bottle at $89 works out at $2.97 a day. Three bottles at $177 work out at $1.97 a day. Six bottles at $294 work out at $1.63 a day. Those daily figures assume you take every capsule.
Now set the supply against the 60-day window. One bottle lasts 30 days, so it ends well before the window does. A three-bottle pack runs 90 days and leaves one bottle untouched when the window ends. A six-bottle pack runs 180 days and leaves four untouched. The window runs from the purchase date, not from delivery.
| Pack | Total | Per bottle | Days at one a day | Shipping |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 bottle | $89 | $89 | 30 | Added at checkout |
| 3 bottles | $177 | $59 | 90 | Added at checkout |
| 6 bottles | $294 | $49 | 180 | Free USA shipping |
The seller prints no figure for shipping on the first two packs. Do not trust any number you see elsewhere. The checkout shows the real one before card details.
The site’s own advice to a first-time buyer is to start with one bottle. It finishes on day 30, so you can decide before day 60. We agree. A cheaper price a day only saves money if you use what you buy.
Check 4: Will it sit well with your medicines?
This check matters most if you take a prescription. The site names three points, and none of them is printed on the bottle.
- Calcium and levothyroxine. Calcium carbonate lowers how much levothyroxine you absorb. The standard answer is to keep four hours between them (a systematic review of levothyroxine interactions).
- Goldenseal and liver enzymes. Goldenseal inhibits CYP3A4 and CYP2D6 in people (a study of goldenseal and human cytochrome P450). NCCIH reports metformin levels falling by about 25 per cent beside it.
- Bentonite. This clay is an adsorbent, so it may bind other things you swallow with it (a review of bentonite in drug delivery).
The amounts are small, because goldenseal is 8th and bentonite 10th of 11. A small amount can still matter for a medicine with a narrow margin. The simple step is to say the name SodaMelt to your doctor or pharmacist before the first capsule.
Check 5: Are you in a group that should skip it?
The label itself names three groups. Children under 18 should not take it. Pregnant or nursing mothers should consult a physician first. So should anyone with a known medical condition. The label also says do not exceed the recommended dose, and tells you to skip any bottle with a broken or missing safety seal.
The site adds more cautions drawn from the ingredient list: a bowel obstruction or suspected one, inflammatory bowel disease unless your own clinician says otherwise, and anyone on a medicine cleared by those two enzymes who has not yet told their prescriber. Some warning signs call for a clinician, not another capsule: blood in the stool, strong pain, vomiting, or a bowel that no longer works on its own.
A capsule is not a way to find out why your bowel is slow. If you have blood, fever, pain or an unexplained change in weight, see a doctor before you try a capsule.
Check 6: Do you know the refund steps before you pay?
A guarantee is only as good as your knowledge of how to use it. The seller’s terms are short. The guarantee is 60 days from the purchase date. Opened and empty bottles are accepted. The steps follow.
- Phone the order desk, +1 (302) 200-3480, inside the 60 days and quote your order ID.
- Request a return authorisation and the return address. Post nothing until you hold both.
- Put your full name, email and order ID inside the parcel.
- Post it with tracking. Return postage is your cost.
- The refund is processed in 3 to 5 business days. Your card then needs 5 to 10 days more.
The email address on the website cannot see orders and cannot start a refund. Keep the order email, because it holds the order ID.
Check 7: Are you buying from the official route?
You buy SodaMelt through this website’s order button, which passes you to the seller’s BuyGoods checkout. That route is the one the 60-day window attaches to. It is also the route where the order desk can match your order to a lot. The site says SodaMelt is not sold in general retail. Resale offers do turn up now and then, and no order record sits behind them.
When the bottle arrives, turn it over and note the lot code and the best-before stamp. This site holds lot SOD-26/MY-2226 and certificate reference SOD-2226-26-MY. Both are filing references. They are not laboratory results, and the certificate itself is released on request, not published.
So is SodaMelt worth it? How to score the seven checks
Nobody can answer worth it for you, because it depends on the reason you came. A simple score helps. Give each check a green light or a red flag.
| Check | Green light | Red flag |
|---|---|---|
| 1 Label | You accept two amounts and no split | You need a milligram figure for each name |
| 2 Fit | You want a short course that moves the bowel | You want a fibre dose or a probiotic count |
| 3 Pack | You start with one bottle | You plan six bottles in a row with no pause |
| 4 Medicines | You told your doctor or pharmacist | You take levothyroxine or a CYP3A4 or CYP2D6 medicine and have not asked |
| 5 Groups | None of the cautions apply | Any caution applies, or you are under 18 |
| 6 Refund | You know the five steps and the 60 days | You have not read the terms |
| 7 Route | You use the official order button | You plan to buy a resale bottle |
Seven green lights is a reasonable buy for a short trial. Any red flag in checks 4 or 5 means a talk with a professional first.

Frequently asked questions
What is SodaMelt?
It is a supplement sold as a capsule, taken once a day. Each bottle holds 30 capsules. The seller does not sell it as a gummy, a powder or drops.
Is SodaMelt worth it?
It depends on your reason for buying. The label supports a short course built around four stimulant laxative herbs. It does not print amounts of fibre or probiotic at the levels studied. Begin with one bottle and keep the 60-day window in mind.
How much does SodaMelt cost?
The seller's ladder starts at $89 for a single bottle and ends at $294 for six. Three bottles are $177. Every pack is paid once. Shipping is added at checkout on one and three bottles and is free in the USA on six.
Is SodaMelt FDA approved?
No. As a dietary supplement it sits outside FDA approval altogether, and the Food and Drug Administration has not evaluated the statements made about it.
Can I return opened SodaMelt bottles?
Yes, within 60 days of purchase. The guarantee names opened and empty bottles. You pay the return postage.
Who should not take SodaMelt?
Anyone under 18 should not. The label also sends pregnant or nursing mothers, and people with a known medical condition, to a physician first. If you use levothyroxine or a medicine cleared by CYP3A4 or CYP2D6, ask a doctor or pharmacist before the first capsule.
Our view
We would call SodaMelt a fair thing to try for someone who wants a short course and who has read the label. We would not call it a fibre product or a probiotic, because the label does not give amounts that match the studies.
The strongest parts of the offer are the plain panel, the 60-day window and the printed order desk number. The weakest parts are the missing split inside the blend, the missing CFU count and the shipping figure that appears only at checkout. Weigh those yourself, and speak to a doctor first if any caution above applies to you.
