SodaMelt Official Website › Refund Policy
Refund PolicySodaMelt Refund Policy: The Window Written As Conditions
A SodaMelt refund is requested within 60 days of the purchase date, by telephone, with the order ID. Opened and empty bottles qualify. Bottles go back to 885 Second Avenue, Suite 2400, New York, NY 10017, USA at the buyer’s postage cost, with name, email and order ID inside the parcel. Processing takes three to five business days and the card takes five to ten more.
The same 60-day promise, restated as the conditions a claim is actually judged against.
Scope of this SodaMelt refund policy
What this policy governs, and the purchases it has nothing to say about.
This policy covers bottles bought through mysodamelt.com and paid for on the seller’s BuyGoods checkout. It is the seller’s policy, stated here in full because a buyer should be able to read it before paying rather than after.
It does not cover bottles obtained any other way. A marketplace purchase, a gift from somebody else’s order or a bottle bought second-hand has no order record behind it, and a refund is paid against a record rather than against a bottle.
Where this page and the seller’s checkout terms differ, the checkout terms are the operative document. This page is maintained to match them and any difference is a mistake here; tell the website desk and it is corrected the same day.
| Covered | Not covered |
|---|---|
| Bottles bought through this website’s hand-off | Bottles bought through a marketplace or resale listing |
| Requests made inside 60 days of purchase | Requests made after day sixty |
| Opened, part-used and empty bottles | Bottles that never reached the returns address |
| The purchase price of the bottles | Outbound carriage, return postage, duty or import handling |
Four rows on each side, and the deadline in the second row is the one that decides most cases.
The SodaMelt refund conditions, clause by clause
Eight clauses, of which exactly one carries a deadline.
- 1. The request is made by telephone. The order desk on +1 (302) 200-3480 logs it against your order ID. The website address on this site cannot see orders and cannot start a claim.
- 2. The request must fall inside 60 days of the purchase date. The date on the confirmation email is the date that counts.
- 3. A return authorisation and a return address are issued before anything is posted. A parcel that arrives unannounced can be refused.
- 4. Your full name, email address and order ID go inside the parcel. A box with no name in it is the commonest reason a refund stalls for weeks.
- 5. Return postage is the buyer’s cost. Use a tracked service; an untracked parcel that does not arrive cannot be evidenced by either party.
- 6. Bottles go to the returns address given at step three. On this desk that is 885 Second Avenue, Suite 2400, New York, NY 10017, USA.
- 7. Processing runs three to five business days from receipt. The refund is issued to the original payment method only.
- 8. The card takes a further five to ten days to show it. That second wait belongs to your bank rather than to the desk.
Eight clauses, and seven of them are administrative. Only the second has a deadline, and it is the only one a buyer can fail by waiting.
Written out like this the policy looks longer than it is. In practice it is one phone call, one parcel with a note inside it, and two waits.
When to start a SodaMelt refund rather than wait
Four situations, and the single habit that decides whether a claim succeeds.
The capsule is uncomfortable
Cramping severe enough to plan your day around is a reason to stop, and there is no smaller dose to step down to: the label dose is already one capsule. Call the desk in the same week rather than finishing the bottle to be fair to it.
The first bottle did nothing
Give it the full thirty capsules at a fixed hour with the glass of water the label asks for. If nothing has changed by the end of the bottle, that is your answer and you are on about day thirty-five with weeks to spare.
You bought six and opened one
Start the claim as soon as you know, not when the shelf annoys you. Five sealed bottles on day fifty are inside the window; the same five on day seventy are not.
Something on the label rules you out
If a prescription or a condition means this capsule is not for you, the money is the smaller problem and the desk will not argue about the refund. Say so plainly on the call.
The pattern across all four is the same. Refunds are lost to hesitation rather than to refusal, and the request is the part with the deadline on it.
A call made early can always be followed by a change of mind: nothing obliges you to post the bottles once a return authorisation has been issued. A call made late cannot be undone.
The records a SodaMelt refund depends on
Six documents, and the one worth keeping that nobody emails you.
| Record | Where it comes from | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Order ID | The confirmation email | The only reference that finds your purchase |
| Purchase date | The same email | Sets day one of the window |
| Tracking number, outbound | The dispatch email | Settles whether and when the parcel arrived |
| Return authorisation | The order desk, at the time of the request | Tells the returns address what to expect |
| Return tracking number | Your postage receipt | The only proof the bottles were sent |
| Card statement line | Your bank | Shows the BuyGoods descriptor the payment was taken under |
Six records, five of which arrive by email without being asked for. The sixth is the postage receipt, and it is the one people throw away.
Refunds on direct purchases stall for boring reasons rather than dramatic ones. The parcel with nothing inside it identifying the sender is the classic, and it is entirely preventable with a folded sheet of paper.
Keep the confirmation email and the postage receipt and a claim becomes a short conversation. Lose both and it becomes an investigation.
What returning a SodaMelt order actually costs you
Three tiers, three postage bands, and the one false economy to avoid.
| Pack returned | Rough weight | Typical US tracked postage | Refund you receive |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 bottle | under half a pound | $5 to $9 | $89 |
| 3 bottles | about a pound | $9 to $14 | $177 |
| 6 bottles | about two pounds | $13 to $20 | $294 |
Postage bands are a September 2026 read of US tracked domestic services and will vary by carrier and distance. They are indicative rather than quoted.
On every tier the postage is a small fraction of the refund, which is the answer to the question most people are really asking: yes, it is worth doing.
The arithmetic changes outside the United States. International tracked postage on a two-pound parcel can run several times the domestic figure, and on the smallest tier it can approach a quarter of the refund. That is another reason the single bottle is the sensible first purchase from abroad.
One thing not to do is send the parcel untracked to save a few dollars. A return that cannot be shown to have arrived is a refund neither party can settle, and the saving is smaller than the risk.
What this SodaMelt policy does not take away
Three things this policy sits alongside rather than replaces.
Nothing on this page limits rights you hold under the consumer law of the place you live. A money-back guarantee is offered on top of those rights, not instead of them.
Card chargeback rights sit with your bank and are unaffected by anything written here. They are worth keeping in reserve rather than using first: a chargeback opened before the desk has been called is slower for you and harder for them to resolve.
If a claim inside the window is refused and you believe it should not have been, ask the order desk for the reason in writing and copy the website desk. This desk cannot overturn a decision it did not make, but it can and does raise patterns with the seller.
A refund is a commercial remedy. If a capsule has caused an effect that worries you, the refund is the least urgent part of that and the label’s own caution is the part to act on first. The safety page names what the four anthranoid members of this blend produce when they work.
Where to write about a SodaMelt refund
Four addresses, and the one that can actually act.
The order desk, for the refund itself
+1 (302) 200-3480. Tracking, address changes, cancellations and refunds. Have the order ID ready; the call is short with it and impossible without it.
The returns address, for the bottles
885 Second Avenue, Suite 2400, New York, NY 10017, USA. Send nothing here until a return authorisation has been issued, and put your name, email and order ID inside the box.
The website desk, for anything written here
[email protected], Mon–Fri 9:00am–5:00pm ET. Corrections, sources and privacy. It cannot see orders and cannot start a refund.
The address on the bottle, for nothing
The label’s distributor block reads SodaMelt, PO Box 12730, Ogden, UT 84412. It is the entity on the carton and it does not process returns for this desk.
Four addresses and only one of them starts a refund. The other three exist and are accurate, which is exactly why they cause trouble: each looks like a reasonable place to write.
The contact page sets the same routing out in more detail, including what each desk will ask for before it can help.
SodaMelt refund questions
How do I get a SodaMelt refund?
Call +1 (302) 200-3480 with your order ID inside 60 days of purchase, ask for a return authorisation, then post the bottles with your name, email and order ID inside the box.
Does SodaMelt refund opened bottles?
Yes. The guarantee names opened and empty bottles, so a finished bottle does not disqualify a claim.
Where do SodaMelt returns go?
To 885 Second Avenue, Suite 2400, New York, NY 10017, USA, and only after the desk has issued a return authorisation.
How long does a SodaMelt refund take to appear?
Three to five business days to process, then five to ten for the card. The second wait is your bank’s rather than the desk’s.
Can I get a SodaMelt refund without the order ID?
The desk can sometimes match an order by name, email and card, but it is slower. The confirmation email is the shortcut.
Is SodaMelt return postage refunded?
No. Return postage is the buyer’s cost, as is the outbound carriage on the smaller tiers.
